We won Best Frontera Short Film!

We were recently part of the 32nd edition of the San Diego Latino Film Festival, and it was an incredibly rich and beautiful experience. With over 200 films and short films from Latino creators, the diversity and cultural depth on display were truly inspiring.

The festival took place from March 19th to March 23rd, kicking off with an exciting opening party and wrapping up with a memorable closing night. Throughout the week, we had countless opportunities to connect with fellow filmmakers, artists, and members of the vibrant Latino community. The energy was contagious, and the passion for storytelling was felt in every conversation, screening, and gathering.

On the final day, during the award ceremony, SDLFF honored Memorias de una flor eterna with the Best Frontera Short Film Award—a moment we will never forget.

We are beyond grateful for this recognition and for being part of such a meaningful celebration of Latino cinema. We can’t wait to return next year and continue sharing stories that connect and resonate.
